5000 BC
Three Worlds
Status: ended
Casualties: Three cities (gold, silver, iron) burned in a single arrow
The three sons of Taraka built three flying cities granted to align only once in a thousand years; only a single arrow that struck all three at that instant could destroy them. Shiva used Mount Meru as his bow, Vasuki as the bowstring, Vishnu himself as the arrow, and the earth as the chariot, with Brahma as charioteer. Mahabharata, Karna Parva.
