After Ravana abducted Sita, Rama crossed to Lanka by a bridge built of stones inscribed with his name by the vanara army. Hanuman burned the city with his tail. Lakshmana slew Indrajit; Rama at last loosed the Brahmastra and killed the ten-headed Ravana. Valmiki, Ramayana — Yuddha Kanda.
