One-month war across the disputed Himalayan frontier — Aksai Chin in the west, the McMahon Line in the east. The PLA achieved decisive victories at Namka Chu and Walong, then unilaterally withdrew. The defeat shattered Nehru and reshaped Indian defence policy.
