1900 BC Connacht Status: ended Casualties: Eochaid slain; Nuada's hand severed (later replaced with silver)

The Tuatha Dé arrived in Ireland in a mist of darkening ships and demanded the kingship from the Fir Bolg. Four days of battle on the plain of Mag Tuired ended with the Fir Bolg defeated and Nuada's hand cut off — disqualifying him from kingship until Dian Cécht forged him a hand of silver.
